Digital guest card for hotels and resorts
Stay details, the Wi-Fi password and the hotel's services on the card each guest saves to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on arrival: no app to download for a three-night stay.
Works natively on iPhone and Android, with no app to install
A digital guest card is the hotel's card, saved in the guest's phone wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) for the length of their stay: it identifies them at reception and across the hotel's services, brings together their booking number, their room and the practical information about the stay, and lets the hotel tell them what's happening in and around the property. With Idenge, a hotel, resort or aparthotel issues it with the booking or at check-in, without asking guests to install any app.
Try a guest card on your phone
In a few seconds you save a sample card to your wallet, like the one a guest would receive with their booking confirmation. When you want your hotel's own, open an account: it is free for up to 20 cards, with no expiry date, every feature included (unlimited alerts and data changes too) and no credit card.

A hotel app nobody installs
For a stay of a few nights, guests won't download the hotel app or create an account: everything you put into it goes unseen.
Information on slips of paper and posters
The Wi-Fi password on a little card, breakfast times in the lift and the spa menu in a leaflet in the room: guests ask at reception for things that were already written down somewhere.
Hotel services with empty slots
The spa, the restaurant or the hotel shuttle have free places while guests are out and don't know they exist, or that there's room today.
Returning guests treated as new
At check-out you lose touch: the guest who comes back every summer books through a platform and turns up at reception as a stranger.

| Trying it out | A project with the app provider | Free for up to 20 cards, on your own |
How to give your guests a digital guest card in four steps
- 1
Design the hotel's card
The hotel's logo and colours, plus the stay fields: booking number, arrival and departure dates and the guest's category in your programme.
- 2
Create it with the booking from your PMS
Connected via API, your PMS creates the card when the booking is confirmed or the guest checks in, with the stay details already filled in, and emails it to the guest.
- 3
The guest saves it on arrival
They open it from the email and add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in two taps, wherever they're from and whatever phone they carry: no hotel app and no account to create for a few days.
- 4
Inform and alert during the stay
From the dashboard you change opening hours or services for every guest at once and send alerts: the terrace opening, the afternoon activity or a change to a shuttle time.
Digital guest card features for hotels and resorts
A stay that updates itself
If you move a guest to another room, extend their stay or push breakfast back, the card updates on their phone without them having to stop at reception.
Location-based alerts
Set a point and the message, and the card shows it when the guest gets close: as they head back to the hotel, for example, with what they can do that afternoon.
No app for the guest, on any phone
The card lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet: guests download nothing and create no account. It works just as well for a weekend visitor as for a tour group booked through an agency.
Sample campaign
Selling hotel services to guests from the digital guest card
Sunday, quarter to six in the evening, the last afternoon of the stay. Alex is back from an excursion and, as he walks into the lobby, his phone lights up: “Your last afternoon with us: spa massage at the guest rate until 20:00. Show your card.” He doesn't have the hotel app: the alert comes from the guest card he saved to his wallet on arrival, and you set it to appear at the hotel for guests checking out the next day, with the departure date written on their card. At the spa he shows his card and takes the last free slot.
-
The airport transfer, the day before
The day before departure, the guest gets an alert with the time the hotel shuttle leaves and how to book it at reception; the time stays on their card until the last day. It's a service that sells itself when it's offered in time.
-
Returning guests, booking direct
At check-out the card doesn't disappear: you change their category to returning guest and, when the next season opens, you tell them about the hotel's direct booking rate before anyone else.
As well as identifying the guest, the card sells: the spa, the transfer and the next stay, each at the moment and in the place where it makes sense.

Frequently asked questions
No. They open the card from the email and save it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which already come with their phone; it looks the same on both. For a short stay that's exactly what they want: nothing to download and nothing to delete afterwards.
It still works. Reception can upload the day's arrivals list as a CSV file each morning, or keep a QR code on the desk so guests sign themselves up at check-in. An API integration saves work, but you don't need it to get started.
Yes. The room is a field for each guest and the Wi-Fi password a field shared by everyone: if you change it, it updates on every card at once and nobody needs to ask for it at reception again.
No. The Idenge card isn't a key: rooms still open with the hotel's own lock system. What it does is identify the guest, bring together the information about their stay and give you a channel to reach them.
Yes. Set aside a field on the card for the recommendation (a restaurant you partner with, this week's excursion) and change it whenever you like; a notification lets guests know about anything new. It's useful information for them and one more partnership for the hotel.
You can start without paying: it's free for up to 20 cards, with every feature included and no expiry date or credit card. As you grow, plans start from €8.99 a month for 100 cards, which also cover the first 20, with no lock-in.
This season, your hotel's information on every guest's phone
Design the card, give it to the guests in a handful of rooms and see how they use it during their stay. You start free for up to 20 cards, with no expiry date and no credit card; for the whole hotel, the pricing is public.
